Delete or archive an inhaler

If you have been instructed to stop using your inhaler and/or wish to remove an inhaler from Inhale, you have two options. You can either archive or delete the inhaler.

Warning: Once you archive or delete the inhaler, you cannot undo that action.

Archive an inhaler

The recommended solution is to archive the inhaler. Archiving will remove the inhaler from your list of inhalers, and it will stop any existing scheduled reminders. However, all of its usage history will still be saved, so you can go back and see when you’ve used the inhaler in usage reports.

To archive an inhaler:

1. Tap the My Inhalers icon at the bottom of the screen
2. Tap the Edit button at the top left of the screen
3. Tap the red circle (-) to the left of the inhaler you wish to archive
4. Tap Archive
5. Confirm you want to archive the inhaler by tapping Archive
6. Tap Done

Delete an inhaler

Alternatively, you can delete the inhaler entirely. This will remove all reminders and usage history.

Warning: Deleting archived inhalers will lose all data for that inhaler and cannot be undone.

To delete an inhaler:

1. Tap the My Inhalers icon at the bottom of the screen
2. Tap the Edit button at the top left of the screen
3. Tap the red circle (-) to the left of the inhaler you wish to delete
4. Tap Delete
5. Confirm you want to delete the inhaler by tapping Delete
6. Tap Done
